Description
How to enter time in MyISU for Classified Staff.
Instructions
Log into
MyISU
with your ISU
Username
and
Password
Note:
Go to
Forgotten or Expired Password
if you need assistance with your password.
Approve
Login
using the
DUO
mobile app or hardware token
Time Entry
Locate the
Time Entry & Employment Details
card on your home screen.
Click
Employee Dashboard
Click
Enter Time
(orange button, right side)
Select the
day
on the calendar (field will highlight blue)
Hover over the
Earn Code field
and Select the
dropdown
to locate Earn Code time entry types
Select an
Earn Code
Type your
Total Hours Worked
for the day
Click
SAVE
(bottom right)
Scroll up and locate the
Employee Dashboard
tab (top); click the
X
on the tab (right side) if you have finished entering your time but are not ready to submit it for approval.
Note:
This will allow you to return later to add more time or correct your entries.
Submit Time Entry for Approval
Locate the
Time Entry & Employment Details
Card
Click
Employee Dashboard
Click the
Approve Time
link (right side)
Scroll to the
Pending - In the Queue
section
Click on an
Employee
from the Employee Name field to view time details
Review
Time Card
for accuracy
Click
Submit
(bottom right)
Note:
You can click
Return
to send the time card back to the employee for any necessary changes.

Regular Pay Hours Worked
Vacation Leave
Sick Leave
Compensatory Time Taken
Holiday Leave
Holiday Hours Worked

Holiday Worked Paid 1.5
Compensatory Time Accrue 1.5
Overtime Paid 1.5
On-Call Hours Accrue Comp time
Paid Parental Leave
FMLA Vacation
FMLA Sick Leave
FMLA Comp Time Taken
FMLA Unpaid Leave
Substitute Teacher Leave
Military Leave
Jury Leave
Sick Leave
Vacation Leave
Sick leave (Only)
Student Regular Hourly Pay
Additional Information
Navigation
Click
additional dates
in the calendar section to continue entering hours.
Corrections
Click the
Pencil Icon
(right of specific time entry) to correct a timesheet entry.
Copy Time Entry
to multiple days
(i.e., a week of Vacation or 8 hours every day)
Enter your
Time
for one day, then click the
copy icon
next to the pencil (right side)
Choose the
Option
where you would like to copy the entry.
Click
Save
.
Delete Entry
Click on the
Minus sign
(right of specific time entry) to delete a timesheet entry.
Restart Time
Click
Restart Time
(top right) to remove all time entered and start your timesheet again.
Leave Balance
Click
Leave Balances (top right) to see your available leave.
Note:
This will not reflect leave earned or taken during the current time period.
Recall Timesheet
Follow the instructions below if you wish to recall your submitted timesheet.
Click
Recall
(bottom right) if you wish to recall your submitted timesheet
Note:
You may continue to access your timesheet to enter time or make corrections until your Time Approver approves your time.
