Preparing Your Courses for ISU Canvas

  1. Create a copy of the Packing Up Your Moodle ISU Course Checklist (external link) for each of your courses to track your progress. Selecting the link will enable you to make a copy of the checklist in your Google Drive.
  2. You may want to Request a Moodle ISU TEMP course (external link) to use for creating a clean version of your course to import.
  3. Review the following:

  2. You may choose to Request Course Specific Sandbox(es) in ISU Canvas (external link) to work in before importing into an actual course.
  3. Review ISU Canvas Faculty Essentials (external link) - an online self-paced training course. Once you access the course, it will be accessible via your Canvas dashboard.
    • You will see this course on your Dashboard.
