Description
The Moodle Lesson Activity allows instructors to create 'branching' exercises where students are presented with content and then, depending on their responses, are directed to specific pages within the lesson content. Moodle Lesson Activities will not import into ISU Canvas.
Instructions
Alternatives will need to be developed in your ISU Canvas course to replace the Moodle Lesson Activities. Options will depend on your original purpose for the Lesson Activity.
For example, are there questions in your Lesson?
- No? Consider:
- Adding the Lesson information to a Page(s) in your course.
- Adding the Lesson information to Google Slides and embed the link in your course.
- Yes? Consider:
- Converting your Lesson information and questions to a Quiz in your course.
- Create your Lesson in Google Forms and share a link to the Form in your course.
- For more in-depth alternatives, seek further assistance from the ITRC.

What else can I use to replace my Moodle Lesson?
-
Using DesignPlus in ISU Canvas, you can design an interactive lesson activity in your course.

MasteryPaths in ISU Canvas can be used to customize learning experiences for students based on performance. You can enable MasteryPaths to automatically assign coursework based on the score achieved for a previous assignment.

Because these are advanced options within ISU Canvas, please contact the ITRC for assistance with the project.
