H5P: Options in ISU Canvas for Faculty

Description 

There are two options in ISU Canvas for creating equivalents for Moodle ISU's H5P activities:
  • For embedded questions in videos, use Panopto.
  • For embedded questions within any ISU Canvas page, use Atomic Assessments.

Instructions

To use Panopto for interactive videos:
  1. Add your videos by following the steps in the Panopto: Moving Videos to a Course Folder for Faculty article.
  2. Add an optional quiz to your video by following the steps in Panopto's How to Add a Quiz to a Video article.
To use Atomic Assessments for various question types:
  1. Create (or navigate to) the page in Canvas where you want to add an interactive activity.
  2. Select ✎Edit.
  3. Select the Plug icon from the Apps menu, then select Atomic Assessments in that drop-down menu.
  4. Use the Atomic Assessments pane to create your interactive activity.
  5. For advanced uses, follow the guidance in Atomic's Authoring Assessments article.
